Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle United have previously been linked with the the former Ligue 1 top scorer. He won the French league and cup double with Lille in 2010/11 before signing for the Turkish giants for £8.13 million (€10m) in January 2012.

Standing 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m) tall he is under contract until 30th June 2016 and was earning £53,000 a week in 2012 so we can expect that to have reached £60,000.
