Tottenham Hotspur Ambassador and former Club captain Ledley King travelled to Beijing for the launch of 2014 Football Dream.

“It is an honour to be involved in 2014 Football Dream and I am excited to see the up-and-coming talent that China and Hong Kong has to offer.

“Tottenham Hotspur’s involvement goes to show the investment the Club is making in football at grassroots level in this part of the world, and developing young talent is a true passion of mine.

“I was lucky enough to come through the Tottenham Hotspur Academy to break into the first team in 1999, go on to make more than 300 appearances for the Club, many as captain, and represent my country at the highest level.

“And, having worked in the world class training facilities we have at Spurs, it is a great chance for the young players involved in Football Dream to follow in my footsteps.”

The Club’s Global Coaching team works with the Hong Kong FA, South China FC, and Tottenham Hotspur’s principal partner AIA across Asia.
