Hernández confirms he's leaving Man United

Javier Hernández has realised that he will have to leave Manchester United this summer as it is costing him his place in the Mexico team.

Hernández confirms he's leaving Man United

Prior to the World Cup his international boss, Miguel Herrera, warned him that he would have to leave Manchester United if he wanted to save his international career. Now it seems Javier Hernández has come to the same conclusion after being left out of their opening game against Cameroon.

Hernández came on as a substitute after 74 minutes and missed a sitter when in yards of space by volleying the ball over. he has all the time in the world to take the ball on his chest and pick his spot with only the goalkeeper anywhere near him.

Spurs consider another Argentinian midfielder

Chicharito's lack of first-team action at Old Trafford saw his international place taken by former Spurs player Giovani Dos Santos who as usual looked a different player trying for his country than the disinterested one we had at Tottenham.

The 26 year-old is tired of sitting on the bench and wants to start games.
"I've never seen myself as a sub and I don't like being one, and believe me, I am tired of a lot of people seeing me that way, as a 'super-sub'.

"I'm a player that has made a difference as a starter."

He has been a sub at Manchester United for 2 years since the arrival of Dutch striker Robin van Persie from Arsenal and has now become a regular sub for his country too.

Tottenham have been keen to sign Hernández before but haven't been able to conclude any deal. Daniel Levy is keen for reinforcements in the striker department and could renew his interest now Hernández has expressed his desire to move.
