It was interesting listening to Tim Sherwood today after training when he outlined to fans how we are going to play, positive up and at em' attacking football.

Not charge of the Light Brigade stuff but positive attacking football as opposed to the patient approach we had under AVB. The need for a positive result means we will be fielding a strong team. With that in mind I would expect to see Townsend on the left running at them and Lennon on the right doing the same.

“They’ve [the players] been good. Obviously, when you lose your manager it’s a change and they’ve got to listen to a different voice now.

“But I’m hoping to get a few messages across in a short space of time so we can get a positive result against West Ham.

"It's a huge game especially on the back of what they did to us at the Lane a month or so ago, it was disappointing, we have to get out there on the front foot and we have to impose ourself on them as soon as we can during the game.

"It's [West Ham] been massively up and down, it's still early days and they've got plenty of points to go for. Let's hope they've got their concentration on Premier League safety rather than in the cup tomorrow night.

"We will have to be patient, they got bodies bedhind the ball and tried to catch us on the counter attack. We're aware of that, we just hope we can impose ourselves on them nice and early, get the crowd behind us and really be up and at them.

"In defensive areas we are quite light but it#s up to them boys to step up to the mark and perform well for the club and for themselves.

"Michael Dawson and Paulinho will be suspended so we'll just crack on with what else we've got and it ain't a bad team."
